The proportion of Vietnamese women marrying foreigners, especially US citizens, is quite high. According to the latest US policy, they need to have an official marriage certificate and hold a formal wedding in order to avoid a fake marriage.
Vietnamese people marrying US citizens will be granted permanent residence visas. Visa issuance processing time will be quite long because the USCIS needs to identify whether the wedding is real or not? The visa classification for this program are IR1 visa, CR1 visa and FB-2A visa.

3.5 EB-5 PROGRAM

EB-5 is an investment program to get US green card for the whole family. The program was issued by the US Congress in 1990 with the main purpose of creating jobs for American citizens. Foreign investors will invest indirectly in newly established businesses. Accordingly, the investor will invest in a project whose capital is guaranteed to create at least 10 full-time jobs for US citizens for 2 years. If the conditions are met, a green card will be issued for the investor.
– All family members including PA, spouse and single children under the age of 21 will be issued green cards, get permanent resident benefits and have the opportunity to become US citizens.
– Type of EB-5 investment: Indirect investment in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA) project developed by the regional center with an investment of $ 900,000. Investors will receive annual interest and this amount of investment will be refunded after 5 years.
